Before Lacey Rae Designs, I was a nurse.  A career that taught me patience, compassion, and the value of caring for others. But everything changed in the best way when I became a mom to two sweet girls. I suddenly found myself dreaming up cute, personalized outfits and matching sister sets.   That creative spark lit a whole new path for me.

With the help of my mom, who taught me how to sew and embroider, I started learning the ropes of handmade clothing and custom designs. What began as a fun way to dress up my girls quickly grew into a true passion, and eventually, into the business you see today.

Now, from my home studio in College Station, Texas, I get to create custom pieces for others who want something special for their own families. It’s been a wild and wonderful journey, and I’m so thankful you’re here to be a part of it.

Yes, we still get mistaken for each other! It keeps life fun.

I’m a proud girl mom
My two daughters are my biggest inspiration and favorite shirt models.

Sewing and embroidery run in the family
I learned it all from my mom — she’s the original maker behind the scenes.

I’m a doodle mom too
Our pups are basically part of the team (and definitely part of the chaos).

I love to travel
One of my favorite adventures? Exploring Japan with my family.

Coffee + creativity = my daily fuel
And I’m always down for a good Sonic drink run.
